Tonight, fashion film club Test Presents and artist Julie Verhoeven will be hosting a screening of 'The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant at the Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green, London. Verhoeven will be discussing her choice of film and its influence.
The event was created to celebrate and build a better understanding of the unique, increasingly dependent relationship between fashion and film. Jaime Perlman, Art Director of British Vogue, founder of TESTmag and organiser of ‘Test Presents', explains that “Cinema is inspirational to fashion designers, artists and photographers and this was an interesting way to gain understanding of its influence on them.
